Where users find themselves in direct sun or poorly ventilated warehouses, the Mesa Pro’s internal fan will help keep the device cool to prevent disruptions by powering down and overheating.

•  Juniper Rugged™
  

  For years, Juniper Systems has designed rugged devices to withstand harsh environments for consistently reliable performance. With the Mesa Pro, we took it a step further than the typical MIL-STD-810H Drop Spec process. First, our engineers followed the prescribed guidelines dropping a unit from 4 feet to concrete, with the tests being completed by a single unit, rather than the 5 units allowed by MIL-STD guidelines. After 30 drops, the tablet was functioning perfectly. Testing from 4 feet to plywood, the engineers passed 30 drops and made it to 200 drops before calling it a day with the tablet still functioning.   For First Responders and Public Safety professionals, FirstNet is the dedicated nationwide broadband network for public safety, providing reliable and prioritized communication, ensuring that emergency services have uninterrupted access to critical information during emergencies. FirstNet Capable means the Mesa Pro can seamlessly connect to this network, delivering enhanced coverage, capacity, and security in the most challenging environments. This capability is crucial for ensuring real-time coordination, rapid data sharing, and effective decision-making during crisis situations, ultimately enhancing the efficiency and safety of emergency response operations.

•  Customization
  

  The Mesa Pro has a range of rugged tablet customization options available that range from branding to integrations. Customers can choose bumper colors or have their own logo or company name represented on the device bezel. Custom integrations are made possible by a dedicated space left available in the sealed Mesa Pro. The Mesa Pro is also available with an optional customized Windows 11 operating system. With further optional extensions like the barcode imager and decoder with bullseye illumination, RS232 (9-pin) port, radios, and CAN modules, the device can be expanded to suit your specific use case. We can even explore further customizations based on the specific connectors you use for antennas, radios, or hardware.

•  Mounting Options
  

  At Juniper Systems, we’ve developed mounting solutions that allow workers to bring the Mesa Pro along in their vehicle or forklift hands-free. Our powered forklift mount has been designed to withstand the vibrations and movement of the vehicle without shaking the tablet loose from its mount or disconnecting cables. Our vehicle dock keeps the Mesa Pro within arm’s reach in a traditional vehicle, allowing users to remove and replace the tablet in the mount easily when they need to exit the vehicle.
