14th Buoy Workshop Postponed until 2021
The 14th Buoy Technology Workshop, originally scheduled for Ap
ril 13-16, 2020 in Wilmington, North Carolina will now take place in 2021
due to concerns about COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus disease 2019
. Full refunds will be given to all those who have registered.
The health and wellbeing of our members, exhibitors, staff, and partners is of paramount concern. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and follow direction from the \;U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Preve ntion.
MTS recognizes that this is undoubtedly a great disappointme nt as the Buoy Technology Workshop is one of the most anticipated events o f the year for many in our community. Please know that the decision to pos tpone the event was not taken lightly. However, we do believe that this is the wisest course of action given the rapidly evolving developments aroun d COVID-19.
The level of planning to ensure the success of this wor kshop is significant and we wish to thank all those involved for their ong oing support. Over the coming months, we will be working diligently to ens ure the success of the Buoy Workshop when it returns in 2021. We will cont inue to provide updates as they surface.
