Each of the AML X•Series instruments shown below can be easily configured with a payload of Xchange sensors that is most appropriate for a given application.
It is widely understood that a major limiting factor for deployment of sensors for ocean monitoring purposes is biofouling. UV•Xchange is a subsea module that prevents biofouling during long-term, in-situ deployments.
These modules can be added to X•Series instruments and configured to provide biofouling control for just a single sensor, or for multiple sensors when installed on the same instrument.
The UV•Xchange module shown below provides biofouling protection to four individual sensors.
A cabled version of UV•Xchange is also available for biofouling protection of third-party sensors and other instruments.
